Dostoevsky spent nearly two years writing The Brothers Karamazov, which was published in chapters in the magazine "The Russian Messenger" and completed it in November of 1880. Dostoevsky intended it to be the first part of an epic titled The Story of the Life of a Great Man of Sin, but soon He died less than four months after The Karamazov Brothers was published. at the end of the first month of the year 1881; That is, a few weeks after the publication of the last chapters of the novel in the magazine "The Russian Messenger". The Karamazov Brothers dealt with many issues related to human beings, such as family ties, raising children, the relationship between the state and the church, and above all, the responsibility of each person towards others.
