The American company, Google, announced the launch of a new application that allows anyone with an

Android phone to participate in medical studies, in partnership with Harvard Medical School.

The app primarily targets respiratory diseases such as the COVID-19

The influenza virus and the app provides a safe and easy way to participate in medical research while

allowing researchers to discover new epidemiological insights into respiratory diseases.

- Using this app, participants can provide data either through responding to surveys or through sensory

readings such as heart rate and temperature obtained over the phone.

How to use the application:

In terms of usability, the app will require users to complete tasks such as simple questionnaires and weekly surveys that ask specific health questions with no personal data leaving your device.
