The new version of the MacBook Air came with a 13-inch Retina screen with a density of more than 4 million pixels and a million colors, and with a high ability to highlight images and texts; in addition, the device has a Touch ID to facilitate entry and perform any other transactions through it in complete security, whether from subscribing to services or making purchases.
As for the internal hardware, the company said that the device offers twice as fast performance as its predecessor as it works with the tenth-generation Intel processor, which has a Turbo Boost speed of more than 3.8 GHz.
Its GPU is Intel Iris Plus, which is the company's latest GPU and gives 80% higher performance than previous versions to make the device suitable for all businesses from editing and making content to games.
Apple said that the current MacBook Air has an internal storage space ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB, twice the amount available in previous generations of the device, to be more suitable for all businesses.
On the security side, the company said that MacBook Air is supported by the second generation Apple T2 Security chip that provides monitoring of the software that is loaded on the device during the setup process to ensure that it works smoothly and correctly in addition to its role in encrypting any private security data that the user stores on the device or even during operations.
